Rookie of the year: Adrian Peterson, Minnesota VikingsDefensive rookie of the year: Paul Posluszny, Buffalo BillsWho will help their teams in 2007? rookies usually sit the bench and learn but sometimes there are players who have the maturity and talent to help out immediatly.1.Ray McDonald,de, Florida and Patrick Willis- 49ers: McDonald fits the 49ers 3-4 system and should make the adjustment from dt to end. Willis can shut down the run on sweeps and plug the middle, because S.F. plays the 3-4 Willis won't ware down as much.2.Heath Miller,te, Arizona State- Raiders: Miller was best te in the draft. He can catch bad passes and find the soft spots in defenses and his blocking will help Raiders' running game. 3. Adrian Peterson,hb, Oklahoma- Vikings: To me the best player in the draft. He will bring back the days of Robert Smith to Minnesota. 4. Paul Posluszny,lb. Buffalo Bills. Shane Conlon helped start Buffalo's super bowl defenses and Posluszny could do the same thing in the near future.
click here for Las Vegas super bowl odds! The best drafting teams in my opinion have been from 1970 to present:
My super bowl contenders for 2007!:
AFC:
New England/ with Moss and Thomas big guarentees.
Indianapolis/ replaced free agent stars but will need help defensively.
Baltimore/ always ready defensively but needs offensive help.
Bengals/ will compete with Pittsburg for title
Oakland/ o.k. the talent is there but this will take hard work.
San Diego/ has very good balance but can Norv Turner motivate them?
NFC:
Dallas/ has all the tools to win it all.
Chicago/ defense makes them contenders
Seattle/ rebuilt into a contender through free agency
New Orleans/ drafted another receiver to outscore opponents
drafting for success the best all-time:
1. Dallas/ most of their super bowl stars were drafted by team.
2. Pittsburg/ 70s' drafts produced lots of future hall of famers.
3. St. Louis/ Rams can draft but didn't reach super bowl a lot.
4. San Francisco/ 1981 draft one of best in NFL history.
5. Washington/ no team has traded away no. 1s' so many times and suceeded like them.
